This is the whole shebang.

A comprehensive assessment is the most accurate way to figure out what is going on for you or your student. I’ll look at everything: thinking, learning, behavior, and feeling. Comprehensive assessments allow us to really dig in and find any underlying strengths or skill deficits and how they show up in each of their environments. It gives us a complete picture of you or your student.

Depending on your specific concerns and needs, a standalone academic or cognitive assessment may be most appropriate. We will figure out what kind of information you actually need and go from there.

What is it?

Academic Assessment

Comprehensive academic testing in reading, writing and math, with specific skill analysis

Social-emotional & Behavioral Assessment

If social-emotional or behavioral concerns are present, we’ll look at all of those areas. This may also include a functional behavior analysis, if applicable

Processing Assessment

Specific and targeted testing to look at cognitive skills related specifically to the area of concern (i.e. phonemic awareness or attention)

General Cognitive Assessment

This is what people typically refer to when they talk about IQ. Basically, we’ll explore the way you or your student think and process information in a variety of different ways

Diagnosis

If any relevant diagnoses come up throughout the course of the assessment, I’ll discuss and provide the diagnosis you can take to your doctor.

90-Minute results review debrief

We’ll meet to talk through everything I found, discuss supports, next steps and strategies. You’ll also receive a full evaluation report.

Developmental history & observations.

All of the data we gather isn’t going to mean much if we can’t put it in the context of your or your student’s life. I’ll conduct interviews with parents, teachers, and any outside providers in addition to conversations directly with you or your student.
