School Psychology Mentorship
The professional support
you’ve always wanted
Wait. I’m the school psych now? Alone?! And we’re fine with this?
Getting unceremoniously dropped into the school psych field after graduate school is absurdly overwhelming and often filled with anxiety, impostor syndrome and loneliness. And if you didn’t get great supervision or mentorship in school, odds are you may not find it out there in the field. Even if you get a great lead school psychologist, many feel they can only reach out so many times before they start to feel like a bother (or that they should have these things figured out by now).
Let me help. Your first years as a school psychologist don’t have to be scary or hard.
Intern supervision and early career mentorship is my favorite part of my career, and I love nothing more than helping new school psychologists learn to develop their own confidence, judgment and style. I want to be there when you need me and to lovingly tell you when you don’t need me at all. I care about developing your own skills and career focus, as well as making sure you’re setting healthy and appropriate boundaries for your own well being. This job can take a toll and doing it alone, without a mentor, makes it so much harder than it has to be.
Price: $200 per month (scheduled based on group availability)
What is it?
2-hour weekly group supervision (meets MFT supervision reqs)
We’ll meet once a week to talk about tricky cases, general topics the group wants support in and best practices to make your professional life run smoothly and leave enough energy to live your life! And I’ll sign off on your MFT logs if that’s something you’re up to.
No more than 6 participants
There’s so much to be learned from other colleagues in our field, which is why I love the group format. But I also know that you need enough time to be seen an heard in each session, so I close supervision groups at 6 participants.
Text, phone or email support
Got a question you need an answer to and can’t wait until next group supervision? I’ve got you. You’re never bothering me. It’s never a stupid question. And I’m never too busy to support you.
