Diagnostic Assessment

Just the essentials

Not every case needs a full assessment. Depending on your situation, perhaps you need just the pieces for a diagnosis, or documentation of a specific disability. Maybe you have a really good handle on what’s going on, but need some data to back it up. Or perhaps you have a general sense something is up in one particular area and want a little bit more information.

No sense in paying for assessments you don’t need and spending lots of time completing assessments that aren’t necessary. Let’s get you what you need, without all the extras.

What is it?

Targeted assessment

Specific and targeted testing to look at cognitive skills related specifically to the area of concern (i.e. phonemic awareness or attention). This could also include social emotional or behavioral assessment if needed.

Diagnosis

If any relevant diagnoses come up throughout the course of the assessment, I’ll discuss and provide the diagnosis you can take to your doctor.

60-Minute results review debrief

We’ll meet to talk through everything I found, discuss supports, next steps and strategies. You’ll also receive an evaluation report detailing what we looked at.

What people are saying

“I always knew my daughter had dyslexia, but we’d never had her officially diagnosed. But then her private school needed documentation for accommodations and we couldn’t take the year-long assessment wait list through our insurance. Kendra was a lifesaver.”

— Parent Client

“My son wanted to know if he had ADHD, but our doctor basically ignored us. Kendra sat with him and listened. After she did all the testing and explained everything to us, it really helped him understand his brain better.”
